Poster Projects
With these two projects, I used a lot of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator in order to make sure that everything overlapped each other to look as natural as possible.
James Bond.
This poster was created in Adobe Illustrator. I designed the background of the red and black lines because I wanted to show the movement, action, and thrill of the concept. I wanted to do the outlines of a car with the labels because in the movies, there is a lot of technology involved, and this is the part that nobody really sees. White was the color I chose for the main elements (car and type) because it stands out on the background colors, without clashing and getting confusing. For my website, I used preexisting images and information. I wanted to keep the same style as the poster, so I took the same background and colors to incorporate them together.
HARVEY Poster
For this project it was mainly built in Adobe Photoshop. I put pieces together in order to overlap and create the environment of the play Harvey. I wanted to have the man standing beside the rabbit, but behind the door. Being behind the door it was to show that the man is the only one who sees this rabbit. The texture on the door is glassy to keep the details of the two figures to be “hidden.” In this play, the rabbit it said to be super tall and to be wearing a bow tie. Choosing a large rabbit showed what the man said he saw, even though nobody knows if this is true or not. The choice of doors was because everyone thought the man was crazy for admitting that he sees said rabbit, so the doors are to imitate hospital doors.
